How do inverters work?

An inverter, or inverter, is an indispensable link in the system of solar panels, cabling and the meter box. As soon as the panels receive sunlight and enough start-up voltage runs to the inverter, it will start operating. The function that the inverter performs is to convert direct current to alternating current. Hereby it is important that the inverter takes into account various issues such as, for example, keeping the alternating current in sync with the power of the grid. It is also important that the inverter ensures that solar panels operate at the most efficient voltage. This is also called the Maximal Power Point Tracking (MPPT).
